Attended the KCK Chamber Awards Luncheon last week in support of hr-haven and everyone at the table commented on how good the food was and how nicely it was presented. Great salad with lots of extras, very tasty AND healthy lunch consisting of perfectly seasoned grilled veggies followed by a juicy grilled chicken breast. Desert was a scrumptious cupcake. All and all, a perfectly sized tasty lunch! Hats off to the Chef!
They were on time however the quality of the food was less than what was expected. The chicken lasagna had way too much rosemary and the chicken was very tough. The ham biscuit appetizer was lacking in flavor overall. However, I must say the coconut brownie was good though a little dry and cakey.
Tom catered my wedding back in 2006 and we couldn't of asked for more. The food was unique and delicious compared to other 'menu' selections in town. We had rave reviews from our guests and everything was perfect. We also contracted people from there to serve and they were so nice. They even saved the bride and groom a plate when they saw we were busy with our guests! the Rices.
Overall, it's not what I would have expected for the money and the quality of the cooking was less than acceptable.
